Extra items:
Hold [Option] and start a new game. Alternatively, enter a name and identity, hold [Shift], and click on "OK". Keep [Shift] held until game play begins.
Extra resources:
Hold [Option] + [Ctrl] and start a new game.
Faster game:
Hold [Option] + [Shift] or [Option] + [Alt] during game play.
Free castle:
Create a castle on the "visit" screen. Hold [Up] to auto-build the castle. Note: A moat will not be included with the castle. This may also be used to repair castles that have been damaged.
Hint: Quick neutrality check:
You can not send a Saboteur, Diplomat, Spy, or Merchant to a territory if it is not owned. If these options are not available for a territory, then it is neutral.
