Virtua Fighter 2
Fight as Dural:
Press Down, Up, Right, A + Left in the character selection screen. A sound will confirm correct code entry.
Fight as Gold Dural:
Press Down, Up, Left, A + Left in the character selection screen. A sound will confirm correct code entry.
Slow motion replay:
Hold Down + A + B + C during the replay.
Replay taunts:
Hold A, B, or C during the replay to select one of your character's taunts to over ride the default.
Alternate costume colors:
Press Up + A + C at the character select screen to choose your character.
View credits:
Hold A + B + C + X + Y + Z during the opening demonstration.
Slow motion name entry:
Complete the game and hold L + R before the name entry screen appears.
Fight the Alphabet fighter (as Shun-di):
Complete the game and hold A + Z + Up before the name entry screen appears. The Alphabet fighter will use Shun Di's moves to fight your character.
Fight the Alphabet fighter (as Dural):
Complete the game and hold L + R + X + Y + Z before the name entry screen appears. The Alphabet fighter will use Dural's moves to fight your character.
Watch mode options:
Press Start when the selection box highlights a character to choose that character to fight. Press X to change the view from side to sweeping.
Listen to Virtua Fighter music:
Load the game disc with a Stunner game gun in port two.
Listen to Jacky's Virtua Fighter music:
Hold R on controller two just before the match begins.
Listen to Sarah's Virtua Fighter music:
Hold R on controller one just before the match begins.
Configure controller:
Hold L or R and press Left or Right on the character select screen to toggle between the various configurations.
Full pause screen:
Pause a match and press X + Y + Z to remove the pause status text from the screen.
Option plus menu:
Complete the game at any difficulty level. Press R(2) in the options screen to display the option plus menu. Ring size, stage select, slow mode, and BGM volume can be adjusted from this menu. Alternatively, press Up(12), Start at the title screen, enter the options screen and press R(2).
Dural FMV sequence:
Complete the game under the hard level with no losses and all knockouts. You may set these options for an easier game with ring outs:
Damage on Life Meter: No
Time: Infinite
Number of Matches: One
Ring Size: 42 Meters
Invincibility:
Enter the options screen and go to the damage for the player done. The damage options are largest, larger, normal, smaller, smallest, and no damage. Choose this for player one or two. If you are playing against the CPU, set it only for player one.
Alternate costumes in demo:
The fighters will in their original outfits during the demo in version 2.0 of the game. They will appear in their second outfit during the demo in version 2.1.
Hint: Ultimate taunt:
Defeat your opponent without receiving any damage or using ringouts to have your fighter display his/her ultimate taunt.
